A stay at Marlborough House will give you the opportunity to relax and pamper yourself in the comfortable surroundings of a spacious Victorian townhouse in a peaceful seafront village setting; the house retains many original features, but has been sympathetically improved to provide the levels of comfort and convenience which you would expect of quality accommodation.

You will have a panoramic view over the mouth of the River Tweed and Berwick Bay on one side, and of the well-kept garden on the other; the house faces onto Spittal promenade, a popular stroll for locals and visitors alike, and the long stretch of Spittal beach – ideal for children to burn off their excess energy in the fresh sea air.

The en-suite bathroom gives you the choice of soaking yourself in a soothing bath or taking an invigorating shower, with complementary quality toiletries provided. You can settle down to watch the 32” widescreen T.V. or a DVD from the comfort of an easy chair, and freshly-laundered bedding will welcome you at night. Complementary tea and coffee-making facilities are also provided.

Breakfast is served in the dining-room, and consists of quality produce, with a choice available for vegetarian tastes, as well as the traditional ‘full cooked’ option.
If you want to bring the family along, then as well as a double bed, the room contains a guest bed which makes into two full-size singles, and a further option of an occasional single bed – providing for any combination from a twin to a family of five.
Off-road parking is available, and if you are arriving by train or coach, a courtesy pick-up service is offered. The local town bus service stops outside the house, and there are numerous local taxi operators running into the late evening/early morning.
The property is fully non-smoking and we do not accept pets.
Superior family-sized en-suite accommodation in a quiet seafront location.
